Hope (Reja) "Hope is planted seed in fertile ground that bears fruit." Hazrat Molana Shah Maghsoud Sadegh Angha, in the book Al Rasa’el, states1: "Reja is knowledge and certainty in the grace of God, and His all pervading wisdom and compassion, and heart-felt hope in the bestowing of God’s blessings." Sheikh Safieddin Ardebili has said: "The reality of hope is the joy that comes with awareness of God’s grace." Hope is planted seed in fertile ground that bears fruit. In the land of our hearts the plant of despair never grows. The cry of the silent by the flame of love ascends, And the heavens listen to the heart-wishes of the sincere, O Thou, Lord of the Arif’s heart, For the bestowment of the great care of the Masters, For the strength of heart of the youthful ones, For the enraptured love-call of awakened heart, For the holiness and purity of the attesters of Truth, And for the heavenly innocence of Tulip-Growers,* Enflame my essence with Thy flame of Love.2 1.
